Full Stack Developer. Lover of frenchies, mid-mod, and phở.

Chicago-based full stack developer currently using my powers for good at The Difference Engine. I recently graduated from Actualize coding bootcamp. I've had the pleasure of working with the folks at Made by Munsters and Codeverse. I'm always open to new opportunities. Let's chat!

Codeverse iPad Check-in App

For my first project at Codeverse as an intern, I worked closely with the design and engineering teams to build a dynamic check-in app for their classroom. This app sends check-in data to the server, which automatically logs the student into an iPad, and triggers other actions within the classroom. The most enjoyable part of this project was the challenge of giving a single-page web app a native iPad experience. The app is now live at their Lincoln Park location. I am continuing work on the app, including new features such as first-visit waiver signature and student checkout.

AdoptaBull Dog Adoption App for Rescues

AdoptaBull was inspired by my favorite squishy-face dog rescue, Road Dogs & Rescue. I wanted to make the adoption process easier for all parties involved, so I took their paper application and make it available online and mobile-friendly! What started as my capstone project, has quickly become my passion project. I’m continuing to build out features such as an admin dashboard, email notifications, and SSO support. This is beneficial to potential adopters because they can now complete a thorough application straight from their phone, while also being highly beneficial to the rescue group by making it easier for them to track and review applicants through one central hub.
